Handy Hints for Entering Seatrade Awards
(Excluding Seatrade Personality Award, Seatrade Young Person in Shipping Award and Seatrade Global Performer Award. Nominations for these are invited from the international business community, and the winners chosen by Seatrade).
To be read in addition to Rules and Conditions of entry
Submitting an entry is an excellent opportunity to get your product/concept before this uniquely independent judging panel.
Make sure you maximise this potential by following the feedback from our judges:
- Completing your entry to the highest standard. It is no good your product being fantastic if the quality of your entry is poor!
- Impress upon the judging panel why you think your entry is a worthy winner of Seatrade Award.
- Include a portfolio of marketing material (See Rules and Conditions, Procedure points 4 & 6).
- The ‘human’ element in all categories is important, so submit your entry even if it isn’t overly technical.
Important changes:
- New category for 2008 – 'Investment in People'.
- Entries in the ‘Safety At Sea’ and ‘Countering Marine And Atmospheric Pollution’ categories are no longer restricted to having been introduced or approved during the previous year, i.e. 2007. (See Conditions of Entry point 4).
If in doubt, give us a call to discuss any aspect of your entry.
