Roberta Schwartz began her career in the travel industry in 1981 as a travel agent. Building on her first career as a teacher, she is currently an Associate Professor at The Hospitality College of Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, Florida, where she specializes in courses leading to the Cruise Line Management major for the Bachelor's degree.  She also is the Director of Education for SATH, Society for Accessible Travel & Hospitality, a non profit membership organization providing education for the industry on meeting the needs of travelers with disabilities and the mature.  Roberta is also the author of The Travel Institute’s “Travel Sales & Customer Service” and “Accessible Travel Lifestyle Specialist,” as well as many articles for the trade and consumer press.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Brooklyn College and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
