Andy Yuill is joint managing director of SMC Design based in London and has over 20 years experience in marine design, working closely with many of the main marine companies. Andy has specifically been involved with NCL since the delivery of Norwegian Sun in 2001 to the current new build of Norwegian Epic.
Andy Yuill and his team have been responsible for many of the public areas, signage and artwork on all of the NCL new build vessels since Norwegian Sun in 2001. These include casinos, spas, restaurants, bars retail areas, children’s areas, out door areas and receptions. SMC Design has also been responsible for many refit/refurbishment projects for NCL and a variety of other marine companies.
It has always been Andy’s belief that the ability to offer his clients a total design solution of Interior Design, Graphic Design and Artwork Consultancy can only result in a more efficient and controlled design process which results in a final product which has overall design continuity and balance. It is far easier when dealing with the various shipyards and contractors durning construction when one company has a design understanding of the entire project.
