LESS THAN FOUR WEEKS LEFT TO ENTER THE 2009 SEATRADE AWARDS

As an acknowledged and respected symbol of excellence within the maritime industry, a Seatrade Award is great for business.

If your company has developed/launched a new product or service then you should be entering - the closing date is 31 December 2008. There are four independently judged categories to choose from:

IMO SECRETARY-GENERAL, TO CHAIR 2009 SEATRADE AWARDS PANEL OF JUDGES

The 2009 internationally acclaimed Seatrade Awards scheme provides the opportunity to attain worldwide recognition for a product or service which is an innovation in its field.

The Seatrade Awards scheme rewards innovative solutions for safe, efficient and environmentally friendly shipping, in keeping with the goals and objectives of the International Maritime Organization.

From small research companies through to large corporations across the world, the Seatrade Awards attract interest from all sectors of the maritime industry.

There are four prestigious awards to be won in the following categories:

In these categories, nominations are submitted by the international business community and the winner is chosen by Seatrade.

Deadline for entries is 31 December 2008

The 2009 independent judging panel will consist of top executives from the industry’s leading associations and will be chaired by Efthimios Mitropoulos, Secretary-General, International Maritime Organization (IMO).

In the new year, the judging panel will rigorously assess all entries and compile a short-list, the finalists will then be notified.  The final selection will be made just hours before the Seatrade Awards Ceremony Dinner which takes place on Monday 18 May 2009 at London’s Guildhall.

The Seatrade Awards are free to enter with no restrictions on the number of entries.
