Jacques Saadé, Founder and Chairman, CMA CGM, was named Seatrade Personality 2007 for having progressively built up his CMA CGM Group into the world’s third largest container shipping company, correctly foreseeing the onset of globalisation and the growth of container trade from China in particular.

For the seventh year, the John Ad. Hadjipateras scholarships – worth a total of £11,000 – were presented to two promising graduates, Mr Gaurav Kumar and Mr Andreas Tiniakos both of whom are studying MSc Shipping, Trade and Finance at London’s City University, Cass Business School.
